Het zal wel zijn opgevallen, maar toch tijd om me even te melden. Ik ben al een tijdje niet echt actief geweest. Dat heeft zo zijn reden.
Nee hoor, ik ben gewoon gezond en de passie is zeker niet minder. Ik ben inmiddels zelfs nog op en neer geweest naar Maranello, dus laten we maar zeggen dat carriere voor plezier gaat in mijn geval...
Het zal ook wel zijn opgevallen dat bBlog niet echt een goede keuze was als blog. Los van het feit dat ik zelden iets tik op een blog, is men gestopt met de support. Beetje jammer.
Geen zorgen, ik heb zojuist wat nieuwe leuke software gedownload, dus beloof ik snel MFP klaar te maken voor de toekomst!

 Een goed begin voor 2008!
 Het is donderdag avond. Ik zit rustig achter mijn computer bij te komen van weer een drukke werkweek. Ik besluit een kijkje te nemen op ferrarichat.com, een site waar ik graag lees maar nooit zelf een berichtje achter laat. Ik ben een zogenaamde 'Lurker', simpel omdat ik niet veel te vertellen heb aldaar. Tot mijn grote schrik kom ik een posts tegen van een Nederelands lid die verteld over een klassiekersmeeting 11 t/m 13 Januari. Het thema van deze meeting is het zestig jarig bestaan van Ferrari en dit wordt gevierd in samenwerking met de Ferrari Club Nederland. Waarom weet ik hier niets van af? Heb ik iets over het hoofd gezien, of is de club vergeten de 'begunstigers' op de hoogte te brengen? Wie of waar het ook aan ligt, ik moest er naar toe. Alleen al omdat de 250 GTO van Frits Kroymans aanwezig zou zijn op deze meeting en ik nog niet de kans heb gehad haar te ontmoeten.

 A good beginning for 2008!
It's Thursday night. I'm sitting behind mijn pc thanking God this busy week is almost over. I decided to take a look at one of my favorite sites ferrarichat.com. I'm just a 'Lurker' because I haven't got much to say but reading the stories is enough fun for me. Suddenly I come across a post about a meeting next weekend. The theme for this meeting is Ferrari's sixtiest aniversary. I just had to go there because Frits Kroymans his 250 GTO was there and I did not have had the change to meet her yet. So we brought the dog to the babysitter, got in the car and drove about three ours to the MECC at Maastricht.

Victory x2 at Brasil!
 What an amazing result! Kimi Raikonnen is worldchampion Formula One 2007. An exciting last race of the season the Scuderia did what we expected them to do, win the race. Meanwhile Murphy did his part by taking Lewis his changes away.Seven points was Lewis his lead on Kimi and a fifth position after the race was all Lewis needed to win. Only Fernando could keep Lewis from winning the championship.
At the beginning of the GP, things already started to look bad for Lewis. Both Kimi and Alonso passed him and in a desperate attempt to taak correct Alonso Lewis did an off-road. Then the McLaren stalled as it did so often in previous seasons and Lewis dropped to eighteenth position. Lucky for Lewis his car could continue after a reset and Lewis his changes small but still posible.
Meanwhile Alonso couldn't keep up the Ferrari pace and lost almost a second each round. Felipe was leading the race and Kimi was right behind. Whit Lewis out of points and a slow Alonso a victory was all Kimi needed to win the 2007 worldchampionship. There was hope again.

Dubbele overwinning in Brazilie!
Onwaarschijnlijk, maar toch waar. Kimi Raikonnen is wereldkampioen Formule 1 2007 geworden. In een spannende laatste race van het seizoen 2007 deed Ferrari wat de Tifosi van hen verwachtte. Men haalde het maximale uit een uitzichtloze situatie. Murphy's law deed de rest. 7 punten voorsprong had Lewis Hamilton op Kimi. Lewis had voldoende marge om op een vijfde stek over de finish te rijden. Enkel Fernando Alonso kon Lewis op normale wijze van zijn eerste titel afhouden.
Het ging al direct bij de start van de Braziliaanse GP, Felipe's thuisrace, de verkeerde kant op met Lewis. Zowel Kimi als Alonso passeerde Lewis waarop Lewis wanhopig probeerde zijn verlies op Alonso te corrigeren. Dit eindigde echter naast de baan en Lewis viel flink terug. Tot overmaat van ramp viel de McLaren, in eerdere seizoenen toch al niet de meest betrouwbare wagen gebleken, stil waardoor Lewis zelfs terugviel tot de achttiende stek. Gelukkig kreeg Lewis zijn wagen weer aan de praat en kon hij zijn weg vervolgen.

Fun at Turkey
It was a hot day at Istanbul Park. Felipe, who started pole, and Kimi were standing at the clean side of the track. Felipe could stick to his first position and Kimi overtook Hamilton just before the first corner. Alonso seemed to have some trouble (frustration) and had to let both BMW's pass. Alonso had to wait until the first pitstops before taking one position back.
Lap 42 brought drama for Hamilton. His front tyre blew so he had to pit, costing him two postitions. Alonso used this moment to take third position. Felipe won, but Kimi was very close.

Lol in Turkije.
Het was een hete dag daar op Istanbul park. Zowel Felipe, die pole heeft, als Kimi staan aan de goede kant van het veld. Felipe houdt hierdoor probleemloos de leiding en Kimi schiet nog voor de eerste bocht Lewis Hamilton voorbij. Fernando Alonso heeft het moeilijk en geeft twee belangrijke posities aan de beide BMW rijders. Pas tijdens de eerste pitstops weet Fernando Alonso een positie terug te winnen op BMW rijder Nico Rosberg. Alonso lijkt gefrustreerd.

Happy anniversary Ferrari!
Here she is, the Ferrari 612 Sessanta. This special limited edition Ferrari will be build to celebrate the brands sixties birthday. Only sixty will be build and all are off course sold before production.
She will be available in a classic twotone color combo. Costumers can pick between Nero with Grigio Scuro or Nero Daytone with Rubino Micalizzato. Other color combinations are possible if paid for. Headlights and bumperdetails will be silver.

Gefeliciteerd Ferrari!
En hier is ie dan, de Ferrari 612 Sessanta. Deze speciale gelimiteerde uitvoering van de 612 Scaglietti dankt zijn bestaan aan het 60 jarig bestaan van het merk. Slechts 60 worden er geleverd door de fabriek en alle 60 zijn natuurlijk op selectie reeds verkocht.
Voor de Sessanta worden twee kleurencombinaties aangeboden. De klant kan kiezen tussen Nero met Grigio Scuro of Nero Daytona met Rubino Micalizzato. Maar met een goed gevulde portemonnee, is uiteraard iedere kleurencombinatie mogelijk. De details op de koplampen en achterbumper worden in zilver uitgevoerd.
